Guemes Island Resort Wedding

There are some people that makes you instantly melt upon meeting them, and Ariel and Dooly are two of those people. Their Guemes Island Resort wedding, completely outdoor and infused with all the Pacific Northwest magic and natural beauty you could ask for, was a favorite wedding experience from this entire season. HIghlights include a waterfront ceremony with a Mt Baker backdrop, and surrounded by rustic cabins, lush woods and space for campfire, all made for the perfect wedding weekend adventure.

Georgetown Ballroom is one of Seattle’s most creative, urban and funky wedding venues, and I loved every second of Katerina and Jimmy’s day. Blue suits, dresses with pockets, a fabulous Irish-American cultural blend of happy tears and laughter all day—what more could you ask for?

Sometimes, it’s best to ditch the city and head to the cascade mountains for a destination engagement photo adventure. Favorite person? Check. Epic views of the the Pacific Northwest? Checkity-check. These two beauties opted for flying into Seattle for their engagement session from California, climbing onto the old trees on Rattlesnake Lake, then a wandering hike up to the iconic view of Rattlesnake Ledge. The cascade mountains have never looked so good.:)

Thornewood Castle is a fairytale-worthy photographer’s dream, and has long been on my wish list for wedding venues in the PNW. Abi and Nick’s gorgeous wedding in this historic hidden gem highlighted their playful love for each other as they wandered throughout hidden nooks for romantic photos in upper levels and throughout the expansive castle gardens—all which made for an elegant, grand, utterly beautiful day. Have you ever seen a bride and groom so happy to be wed, they literally skip and bound down the aisle after their first kiss? That was Katy and Matt in a nutshell. Their beautiful Seattle wedding at Goldens Gardens Park was full of whimsical happiness and beaming faces from beginning to end. Being well-accomplished artists who met in the world of musical theatre, there included fantastically entertaining song and dance elements by both them and honored guests alike, and seeing their expressive hearts sharing their love was an absolute gift to witness.

Elegant Olympic Rooftop Pavilion Wedding//Old Ballard Seattle, WA

Marissa and Tristan's elegant Olympic Rooftop Pavilion wedding highlighted the most beautiful view and feel of Old Ballard, and they made the entire neighborhood a part of their celebration by including their first look at Bastille, taking a stroll through the Ballard Locks, and spending time with those closest to them at local favorites Percy's and Stoneburner. For even more stunning details, they topped it off with a live jazz quartet, strung lights and an outdoor fireplace for an absolutely, breathtakingly perfect evening to celebrate love.

DeLille Cellars, Woodinville WA Wedding//Stephanie+Steven

Stephanie and Steven's southern-infused winery wedding was the perfect combination of classy, romantic and raucous fun with all their nearest and dearest. The fairytale grounds of the gorgeous De Lille Cellars gave us endless playing spaces for their wooded ceremony and tented reception, and oh my word, can this group throw a good dance party.  Other special details included their adorable furbaby ring-bearer, the jaw-droppingly crafted DIY cake and decor, alpacas watching us from across the fence, and the end of the night topped off with a swoon-worthy cinematic sparkler exit. Oolala!
